No. ValAi handles a different job: helping guests self-serve property-specific questions during their stay. A co-host, VA or property manager may still handle reservations, turnovers, guest disputes, maintenance and other operational work. ValAi is designed to reduce repetitive property questions, not replace those roles.
Property-management platforms can handle booking workflows, scheduled messages and, depending on the platform and plan, AI-assisted or automated inbox replies. ValAi serves a different surface: guests open a property-specific concierge directly through a Guest SmartLink, QR code or website embed, before a message reaches your inbox at all. Many hosts run ValAi alongside their PMS.

With Live Local Web Search enabled, it can also help with current local questions such as weather, transport and nearby places. If the required property information is missing, ValAi should say so rather than guess.
Yes — provided that information has been added to the property. ValAi uses the host's property information to answer relevant guest questions through the concierge.
In many cases, yes. Every ValAi property has its own stable Guest SmartLink. Hospitable lets you store a guidebook URL on each property and insert it into a confirmed-booking messaging rule using its %guidebook% shortcode. Guesty and Hostaway let you store the SmartLink as a property or listing custom field and insert that variable into an automated message, so one rule covers every listing. No direct ValAi–PMS integration is required for this pattern. Vrbo supports property-specific scheduled templates, and Airbnb has scheduled replies, though Airbnb's external-link rules can apply — follow Airbnb's current policy.
ValAi is self-serve and does not require an onboarding call. Add your property information, review what the concierge knows, fill any important gaps, then copy your Guest SmartLink into the guest message you already send. The QR sign is optional if you'd rather have something in the property.
Yes. With Live Local Web Search enabled, the concierge can fetch real-time answers from the open web — today's weather, nearby restaurant menus and hours, transport updates, and upcoming local events — on top of everything in your welcome book. Hosts can toggle this on or off per property from the dashboard, and every lookup is logged so usage stays transparent.
Yes. ValAi can be used by short-term-rental hosts in Australia, the United States and other markets, and the guest concierge supports 30+ languages. The Guest SmartLink and QR sign are independent of the booking platform a host uses.
